I would like clarify to some people what web development and web design means, and what the steps a web development company or web designer usualy makes (in relation to the client). The author of this article is web developer working at a Romanian web development company, and the aproach presented is common practice in Bitstar Solutions.
Designing a new website includes some steps that I will summarize here. This is what every respectable webdesigner should do to treat a client well.
The first step in web development is to discover what you want by talking with you, seeing what you have already as a logo, brochures or other visual identifiers of your business. We evaluate together if this image, if you have one, you should, if it represents your company.
If so, we will leave this to develop an "interface" - the term used to describe what will look your site on screen - that reflects your existing image.
If this was not the case, I will propose some examples of new logos, colors and styles, to create a brand that suits you and a web site you like.
The second step is to produce 2 or 3 different samples - models that software developers call "the graphic" - websites that might interest you. From there, retaining the elements that you enjoy most about one and the other models, we will design a Web page that will give you full satisfaction.
The third step is to gather all content to be published on your website. It Slor that together we will determine what precisely the "menu" that the user will see as well as links to various pages, and obviously, the kind of content that we find to each page.
Whenever I am in possession of all the future content of your site that we heard about your preference in terms of style, I began the creation of the site itself.
Then I will create my server on a space that will be accessible at all times so you can monitor developments. I prefer constant communication in order to validate each stage of the integration of content, to be sure that what I please.
When this step is completed, it remains for me to do the job optimization. This is to check each page code - the code is the language that your browser is then able to view what you see. Optimization is important for us to reference your site, to inform search engines that can then propose to the Internet during their search.
A future article will talk about the steps taken in custom software development. Even if they are not very different we usualy talk abut longer development times and much higher budgets. I will probably need some help on this from a colegue from the software development departament :)

Website Design and The Concept of SEO
Search Engine Optimization better known as SEO has redefined the very concept and pattern of website design. Gone are the days of complicated designing concept, people are now preferring simple websites with easy navigation and quality content. The more the keyword rich content, the better. A website represents the image of an organization through the online medium but for this purpose, it needs to get steady flow of traffic. Getting regular flow of targeted traffic will be not possible if it fails to cater accurate information about a specific topic. For retaining a conspicuous position in SERP, a website must use meta-title, meta-keywords, meta-description and alt-tag (for images).
Grabbing good position in major search engines will certainly add extra miles to your business organization. One can take the assistance of a reputed SEO professional who is well versed with all the aspects of website design. The loading time of a website should be heeded with due consideration. If your website is taking too long time to load, you must do sometime urgently otherwise, visitors will keep bouncing back from your website. Before launching your website, you need to go through all the above mentioned tips carefully. However, if you are unable, you can contact a reputed website design company for example: WebGuru India which has an impressive global presence.

IT Recruiment Sites
Today happend to be the launch date for a big international IT Jobs site. There are many IT Recruiment sites out there but this one is a bit more special. Unlike other job sites that call themselves 'IT only jobs site' they actualy offer features for the IT sector.
You know how other job sites split their job offers in domains like: Agriculture, Construction, Economics, IT, ... etc. Well they do the same but they split the IT: Development, Neworking, Databases, Quality Assuarance etc. They go even further as they split these domains into categories and skills. These skills can be used to create CVs and job offers with a few mouse clicks and to make very good guesses and recomandations about which job is better suited with which candidate. ItJobHunt has a very powerfull search engine that knows what you are good at and sugests the right jobs for you. I was really impressed by this. I really think this will revolutionize the way employers find employees and how candidates find work in the IT area.
And that's not all. ITJobHunt gives candidate the posibility to take tests before they apply to a job and show their future employer what they are made of.
I'm sure there are a few more suprizes awaiting you but I didn't have the time to explore all the features.
Check it out.... perhaps you find a good job in the process:
